Mrs. Frances Rudine Soles Moore, age 87, of Willacoochee, passed away Monday afternoon, January 21, 2019 at Pruitt Health in Ocilla following an extended illness. Mrs. Moore was born November 21, 1931 to the late Nollie Soles and the late Linnie Carver Soles. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Jackson Moore; and eight siblings, William Soles, Amanda Soles, Florine Soles, Myrtle Soles, Rev. Charlie Soles, Carlie Soles, Rev. Herman Soles and Eula Mae Harper. 

Mrs. Moore, a native of Coffee County, was a homemaker. She was a member of Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore and her husband, Rev. James Moore, had served in the ministry with the Holiness Baptist Association for more than 50 years. During their ministry, they had served a number of churches throughout South Georgia sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Survivors include: Children, Marilyn Martin of Nashville, James Lamar “Marty” Moore and wife Margie of Willacoochee, Lisa Cater and husband Allen of Willacoochee, Daryl Moore of Tifton, GayAnn Hodge of Enigma, and Wendell Moore and wife Melissa of Douglas; brother Stanford Soles and wife Elizabeth of Hahira; sisters Wynell Joiner of Goose Creek, S.C. and Grace Hancock of Nashville; 22 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be Thursday afternoon, January 24, 2019 at 3 P.M. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Martin and Rev. Russell Joiner officiating. The interment will follow at Willacoochee City Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
