Susan Caves Carelock, age 62, of Wray, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Carelock was born on September 2, 1957 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Harold Ragsdale and Laverne Pridgen Ragsdale.

 

Mrs. Carelock was a member of Broxton Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brooklyn Carelock.

 

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Carelock of Wray, GA; daughter, Misty Carelock (Lamar) of Wray, GA; son, Gabriel Carelock (Lindsey) of Wray, GA; eight grandchildren, Mathew G. Carelock of Annapolis, MD, Ella Grace Carelock of Wray, GA, Kyleigh Layne Carelock of Wray, GA, Asher Benjamin Carelock of Gulfport, MS, Corey Martin of Wray, GA, Austin Martin of Ambrose, GA and Drew Spivey of Wray, GA; two sisters, Sarah Austin (Stanley) of Yulee, FL and Sharon Harper of Wray, GA; several nieces and nephews.

 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00am at Pridgen Church Cemetery with Brother Joey Copeland officiating. Pallbearers will be Randy Cribbs, Carl Pittman, Scotty Lott, Charlie Lott, D.J. Harper and Jimmy Raper.

 

Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Those in attendance are requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
