Onecia Ann Selph, age 74, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Selph was born on July 23, 1946 in Ocilla, Georgia the daughter to the late Albert Robert Johnson and Talitha Bessie Ring Johnson.

 

Mrs. Selph retired after 20 plus years with the Ware County Health Department and was a member of Saving Grace Ministries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lamar Selph.

 

Survivors include daughter, Kristi Goss (Daniel) of Lake Park, GA; son, Robert Lanier (Dawn) of Millwood, GA; nine grandchildren, Nikki Lanier, Chad Lanier, Dylan Lanier, Alyssa Lanier, Nicholas Lanier, Sydni-Kadynn Goss, Alyvia Lanier, Remington Goss and Carson Goss; four great grandchildren, Lexi Lanier, Tison Lanier, Elliot Lanier and Lilly Lanier; two sisters, Virginia J. Johns of Selma, NC and Diantha L. Hart of Douglas, GA; special cousin, Linda Gail Singleton; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00am at Saving Grace Ministries with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at Waters Cemetery, Blackshear, GA. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 10am until 11am prior to the service at Saving Grace Ministries. Pallbearers will be Timmy Lucas, David Lucas, Danny Lucas, Dustin Lucas, Andy Johns, Randy Johns and Nicholas Lanier. Honorary pallbearers will be Remington Goss and Carson Goss.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
