David Bynum Standridge, age 73, of Ambrose, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Standridge was born on January 25, 1947 in Irwin County, Georgia the son of the late M.D. Standridge and Bertie Sayer Standridge.

 

Mr. Standridge was a man of many talents and was a charter member and deacon of Westwood Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Linda Vickers Standridge of Ambrose, GA; daughter, Amy Standridge Smith (Jeremy) of Broxton, GA; son, David Scott Standridge of Ambrose, GA; four grandchildren, Halie Standridge, Hillary Standridge, Slade Smith and Kynlee Smith; one great grandson, Bentley Martin; two sisters, Deborah Stapleton (Charles) of Douglas, GA and Barbara Thomas of Douglas, GA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

The family will receive friends Monday, December 14, 2020 from 1pm until 2pm at Westwood Baptist Church, Ambrose, GA.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 2:00pm at Westwood Baptist Church, Ambrose, GA with Rev. George Carroll Paulk, Rev. Jack Chaney and Rev. Robert Couey officiating. Interment will follow at Westwood Church Cemetery.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
