Orson Adams, age 80, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Adams was born on April 10, 1941 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of the late Olan & Mattie Bell Carter Adams.
Mr. Adams was a farmer, chairman for over 20 years with the Soil & Water Conservation Authority and was of the Pentecostal Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Rachel Jackson Adams.
Survivors include daughter Karla Adams of St. Louis, MO; sister, Vonda W. Gustafson of Henderson, NV; 2 grandchildren, Allie Yarberry of West Green, GA and Ashlyn Adams of Douglas, GA; 3 great grandchildren, Delta Sixtos, Peyton Yarberry and Ember Yarberry; 2 step-children, Guerry Arnold (Tonya) of Douglas, GA and Gerald Arnold of Douglas, GA; step-daughter, Shannon Roberts (Lee) of Douglas, GA; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, June 24, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.
Private interment will be held at a later date. Memorialization is by cremation.
