Marcus J. Bazemore, age 49, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia following a brief illness. Mr. Bazemore was born on February 18, 1973, in Douglas, GA to Robert Lee Bazemore and Helen Stone Bazemore.
Survivors include: Two Daughters; Emmalee Bazemore (Bobby) Roberts of Douglas, GA, Jasmine Bazemore of Douglas, GA, Mother; Helen Stone Bazemore of Douglas, GA, and an Aunt; Bernadette Blankenship of Douglas, GA. Mr. Bazemore was preceded in death by: Father; Robert Lee Bazemore, and a Sister; Denise Helen Bazemore.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 2:00pm, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral home with Rev. Floyd Tanner officiating. The interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sims Funeral Home.
