Jennifer Marie Lewis, age 55, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Ms. Lewis was born on June 4, 1967, in Douglas, GA to the late Gordon Lewis Jr and the late Mary Magdaline Morgan Lewis.
Survivors include: Two sons: Ashley Lewis of Nicholls, GA and Joseph Jewell of Savannah, GA. Three Grandchildren: Skyler Lewis, Madison Lewis and Hunter Lewis. Three Sisters: Vicki Lewis of West Green, GA, Sharon Lewis of Douglas, GA and Shirley Stone of West Green, GA. Brother: Gordon (Bridgette) D. Lewis of Douglas, GA. Three Step-children: Wendy Harper of Douglas, GA, Jody Jewell of Dawson, GA and Ashley Jewell of Macon, GA and several Nieces and Nephews. Ms. Lewis was preceded in death by: Father: Gordon Lewis Jr, Mother: Mary Magdaline Morgan Lewis and Daughter: Angela Lewis.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 18, 2022 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 2:00pm Saving Grace Ministries with Rev. Cliff Kirkland and Rev. Mike Harper officiating. Interment followed at Tanner Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Jason Afaneh, Gerrard Burnam, Gordon Lewis, Lee Harrison, David Kirkland, and Ricky Woods. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Shanice Lee, Ashlyn Cohen, Felisha Grantham, Marsha Cohen, Christopher Afaneh, and Brandon Courson.
