Thomas Bryan Preston Sr., age 83, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Mr. Preston was born on May 12, 1939, in Douglas, GA to Montgomery Lane Preston and Ouida Bryan Preston.

 

 

Survivors include; Wife: Janice Pope Preston of Douglas, GA, Son: Thomas Bryan Preston Jr. (Mary) of Douglas, GA, Daughter: Pamela Preston of Douglas, GA, Grandchildren: Tyler McNeese and Chelsea Preston, Great Grandchild: Gauge McNeese, Brother: Robert Preston of Douglas, GA and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by; Father: Montgomery Lane Preston, Mother: Ouida Bryan Preston and Brother: Montgomery Lane “Buck” Preston Jr.

 

 

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at First Baptist Church.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made to Bethany Hospice or First Baptist Church.

 

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church with Pastor Gregory Pope and Pastor William Pope officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date at Carver Baptist Church Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be: Bill Preston, Robert Preston, Geoffery Pope, Bradley Pope, Jim Hudson, James Dennis, Tom Brice, Sunday School Class Members and Charles Warnock.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
