The Coffee High School Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) welcomed over 40 new members during its annual Induction and Installation Ceremony during FBLA Week Tuesday, February 11 at Hog n Bones, Douglas. In addition, three chapter officers were installed and honored during the ceremony.

As part of the event, chapter officers presented in detail a presentation regarding the FBLA Delta logo which exemplifies service, education, and progress. They referenced the FBLA Creed, which focuses on education, being productive and preparing for the world of work.  Members concluded by reciting the FBLA pledge. The following chapter officers presided over the ceremony: Jesse Hathaway and Dominic Mimbang, Co-Presidents; and Addie Ingalls, Treasurer.

Following the event, the chapter was honored to be asked by Kiwanis member, Sandy Joiner, to join the local Douglas Kiwanis organization for their monthly chapter meeting which began at 7 p.m. Kiwanis members were able to point out a few words of wisdom to FBLA members throughout the meeting. In turn, FBLA adviser Kristi Joyner, and Addie Ingalls, FBLA Treasurer, presented a grand overview of what FBLA is and does to the Douglas Kiwanis members. FBLA advisers in attendance included Ms. Kelly Gilliard; Mrs. Kristi Joyner and Ms. Brandy Paulk.
