In their first season of flag football, the Lady Patriots came into the state playoffs as a #6 seed and matched up with the 2024 GIAA state runner up and #3 seeded Georgia Christian Generals.

After losing 12-0 earlier in the season, the CCA defense locked in and squashed the big plays that gave GCS success earlier in the season. The starting defense held them scoreless the entire game, led by Arabelle Roberts with 7 flag pulls and 3 quarterback sacks. Arlee Vickers and Abrah Harris had 4 flag pulls each, while Bristol Barrs defended 3 big passes successfully and Gracie Giddens had a handful of quarterback hurries.

Unfortunately, special teams made all the difference, with CCA giving up two punt returns over 60 yards for touchdowns in the 2nd quarter.

Roberts gave the Lady Patriots a spark in the 3rd quarter with an interception returned 20 yards for a touchdown and recieved the 1 pt conversion pass from Bristol Barrs to bring the score to 12-7. Neither team was able to produce points the 4th quarter.

CCA closes out their inaugural season with a 4-3 record and are looking forward to a bright future for the flag football program.
