Wiregrass Georgia Technical College and Coffee Regional Medical Center are continuing their partnership with a $50,000 investment to support healthcare education and workforce development in South Georgia.
This ongoing collaboration supports Wiregrass’s Registered Nursing (RN) and Paramedic programs on the Coffee Campus, providing students with enhanced access to hands-on training and real-world clinical experiences. Through this partnership, students are better prepared to meet the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals across the region.
“This investment is a powerful example of how community partnerships directly impact student success and regional workforce development,” said Will Bostelman, Executive Director of Fundraising at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. “Support like this not only strengthens our programs but also creates opportunities for others to invest in the future of healthcare in our communities.”
“This investment strengthens a direct pipeline from education to employment in our region,” said DeAnnia Clements. “Our students are gaining the hands-on training and real-world experience needed to step confidently into high-demand healthcare careers. Partnerships like this ensure we are not only preparing graduates for success, but also meeting the critical workforce needs of the communities we serve.”
“Coffee Regional Medical Center is proud to continue our partnership with Wiregrass Georgia Technical College as we invest in the future of healthcare in our region,” said Vicki Lewis, CRMC President and CEO. “By supporting the training and development of nursing and paramedic students, we are helping build a strong, skilled workforce that will serve our communities for years to come. This collaboration ensures that local students have the opportunity to learn, grow, and ultimately provide high-quality care close to home.”
