Agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation have arrested and charged four teens in connection with a shooting in Coffee County early Sunday morning. Brandon Camacho, age 20, of Coffee County, suffered serious injuries as a result of the shooting. Those arrested are: On Sunday, February 1, 2026, deputies from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting on Highway 158 just inside of Coffee County. The Douglas City Commission had two items on its Monday, January 12, 2026, meeting – the swearing in of three commissioners and discussing the alcoholic beverage license for Los Tres Agaves Restaurant LLC. The commission conducted a public hearing regarding the Los Tres Agaves alcohol license request. The restaurant is located at 306 South Peterson Avenue, between Kribs and Kradles and Hardware House.
