A package containing as much as $50,000 worth of methamphetamine was seized in a multi-agency operation in Jeff Davis County last week. According to a press release from the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Jeff Davis County drug investigators and deputies along with Appling County investigators, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Homeland Security initiated a search warrant at a residence in Jeff Davis County following the delivery of a suspicious package.
