Mr. Jimmy Lee Mancil Sr., 78 of Douglas, Georgia passed away Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Mancil was born March 11, 1945 to the late Naomi Varnedore Whitman in Douglas, Georgia and was adopted by his maternal grandparents, the late Earnest and Alzada Mancil of Ambrose, Georgia. He graduated from Coffee County High School in 1963 and in his early adult years he worked as a meat cutter at Winn-Dixie Supermarkets for several years all over the South Georgia area. Mr. Johnny Edward Walls, Sr., age 63, of Alma, Georgia passed away Sunday afternoon at his residence on January 14, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
