Kyric Davis had 28 points on 75 percent shooting Saturday afternoon as the South Georgia State College Hawks cruised to a 93-42 win over the Southern Crescent Tech Tigers. The Tiftarea Panthers handed the CCA Patriots their first loss of the season in a 4-1 affair Friday afternoon in Douglas. The Patriots took a 1-0 lead in the third when Jonathan Rutland scored Tyson Crosby on a single. Thomas Gentry hit a one-out double then Crosby came in to run for Gentry. The Coffee Trojans walked off the Toombs County Bulldogs Friday night at Charles Wilson Field in Douglas, winning 6-5 in the bottom of the seventh on a two-run single by catcher Payton Bryant in a game that the Trojans never led until the final run crossed the plate.
