Indian Creek Elementary was honored to have children’s non-fiction author and educator, Amy M. O’Quinn, visit with us last week.
Her presentation, Non-Fiction is Informative…and Fun, was very engaging. Her book, Marie Curie for Kids: Her Life and Scientific Discoveries, with 21 Activities and Experiments, was for sale.
Mrs. O’Quinn was available to sign copies of her book and to discuss her writing. She shared with students how she gets her ideas and the process involved in publishing her books.
