Mrs. Barbara Keener Strickland, age 87, of Pearson, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Fellowship Home at Cotton Hill in Cuthbert following an extended illness.
Survivors include a son, Sydney Strickland, Jr. of Blakely and a daughter, Cynthia Strickland Lewis of Pearson, Ga.
Funeral services for Mrs. Strickland will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Pearson First United Methodist Church in Pearson with Rev. Henry Bass officiating. The interment will follow in Blakely City Cemetery in Blakely at 3:00 p.m.
Mrs. Strickland will lie in state at Pearson First United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
