Mrs. Elba Hood Wilson, age 89, of Axson, passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas following an extended illness.

Survivors include: Sons Jimmy Wilson and wife, Lynette of Bunnell, Fla. and Gene Wilson and wife, Susan of Charlotte, N.C.; daughter Charlene Mimbs of Axson; brothers Hyrum Lehi Hood of Waycross and William Conard Johnson and wife, Lenza of Waycross; sisters Margaret Bennett of Millwood and Patricia Beale of Waycross; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be held Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pearson. The interment will follow in Utah Cemetery in Axson.

In lieu of flowers, family has asked that donations be made to a children’s charity of your choice, in honor of Mrs. Elba Wilson

Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson is in charge of the arrangements.
