Mrs. Dorothy Lane (Bazemore) Renfroe, 89, of Bartow, Florida, wife of the late William Staten Renfroe, passed away January 17, 2022, in Bartow, Florida. Mrs. Renfroe was born in Atkinson County, Georgia on June 17, 1932, to the late Julius Lane Bazemore and Ollie Mae (Sears) Bazemore. She was a homemaker for most of her life, a longtime member of the Bartow Lioness Club, and a member of Bartow First Baptist and Union Hill Congregational Christian Churches.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Anne Renfroe Drennan (Frank), son William Staten Renfroe, Jr. (Leeanna), three grandsons, William Drennan (Jessi), James Drennan (Lindsay), and Seth Renfroe (Krista), six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a brother, Lane Bazemore.

 

Mrs. Renfroe’s wishes were to be buried next to her beloved husband at Union Hill Congregational Christian Church Cemetery in Pearson, Georgia.

 

Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 19, 2022, 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 20, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

 

Graveside Services and Interment will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Union Hill Congregational Church Cemetery, in Pearson, GA. at 10:00 a.m.

 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice at <https://cornerstonehospice.org> Sign the guest book and provide condolences to the family at www.whiddenmcleanfuneralhome.com

 

Whidden-McLean Funeral Home of Bartow, Fla., along with, Relihan Funeral Home, are in charge of the arrangements.
