Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the funeral service for Dewey Thomas “Butch” McDuffie, age 72, of West Green, who passed away Friday, April 22, 2022.

 

 

Visitation will be 6-9 PM Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services. Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 25, 2022 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.

 

 

Rev. Rob Merritt will officiate with burial in the Chatterton Church Cemetery.

 

 

Mr. Mc Duffie was born in Ocilla.  He was the son of the late John Thomas McDuffie, Jr. & Nancy Marie Hargett McDuffie and the husband of the late Estelle McDuffie.  Mr. McDuffie was preceded in death by: Grandson: Abel McQueen; Sister: Linda Fussell Parker.  He was a U. S. Navy Veteran.

 

 

Survivors include: Wife: Diane Mattox McDuffie of West Green; Children: Terri Hughes (John) of Irwinville, Patrick McDuffie of Jacksonville, Fla., Kayla McQueen (Tyler) of Nicholls, Spencer McDuffie (Jazmine) of Lemoore, California, Nick McDuffie, Angie McDuffie & Chris McDuffie of West Green; Grandchildren: Kristen McDuffie, Lilly McDuffie, Katie Hughes; Sister: Sue McDuffie Apperson (Larry); Several other relatives also survive.

 

 

Active pallbearers will be: Tyler McQueen, Spencer McDuffie, Chris McDuffie, Joey Williams, Nick McDuffie, Bridgette Amerson.

 

 

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
