Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the funeral service for Hellen G. Anderson Merchant, age 80, of Douglas, who passed away Friday, April 29, 2022.

 

 

Visitation will be 6-9 PM Tuesday, April 3, 2022 at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services. Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 04, 2022 in the Calvary Mission Church.

 

 

Rev. Brantly Anderson & Rev. Bradey Lott will officiate with burial in the Salem Church Cemetery.

 

 

Mrs. Merchant was born in Jesup. She was the daughter of the late Evans David Garrett & Cecil and was preceded in death by: Husband: Glenn Merchant; Son: John Mark Anderson. Mrs. Merchant was a homemaker and a member of The House of Mercy.

 

 

Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law: Brantly & Kandi Anderson of Douglas; Grandchildren: Brittany Busby (Drew), Caleb Anderson (Shianna) Anderson, Abrianna Payne (Chip), Ansley Jennings (Shawn), Brantly “Bubba” Anderson, Jr., Bailey Lott, Bradey Lott all of Douglas; Great-Grandchildren: Braylin Busby, Ava Busby, Layton Anderson, Raleigh Anderson, Axton Payne & River Jennings; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

 

Active pallbearers will be: Caleb Anderson, Drew Busby, Chip Payne, Brantly “Bubba” Anderson, Jr. , Braylin Busby & Shawn Jennings. Honorary will be: Theo Moore, Joe Carver, John Carver, Van Russell, Keith Brigmond & Eddie Dailey.

 

 

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
