Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the memorial service for Thelma “Ann” Wooten Sweat, age 66, who passed away Monday, April 10, 2023.

 

 

Memorial services will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.

Mrs. Sweat was born in Broxton.  She was the daughter of the late Charlie Estlee Wooten.  Mrs. Sweat was preceded in death by brothers: John Wooten & Charlie Wooten.  She was a homemaker.

 

 

Survivors include: Husband: James C. Sweat of Douglas; Son: Walter L. Sweat of Douglas; Daughter-in-law: Michelle A. Sweat of Douglas; Grandchildren: Abbi & Jesse Higgins of Douglas; Daughter: April Walker of Douglas; Grandchildren: Alyssa & Lawson Young of Douglas; Great-granddaughter: Paisley Davis of Douglas; Mother: Thelma Wooten of Broxton; Brother: Jerome Wooten of Broxton; Brother & Sister-in-law: Roy & Chris Wooten of Edmonton, Kentucky; Brother & Sister-in-law: Tom & Donnette Wooten of Broxton; Brother & Sister-in-law: Will & Molissa Wooten of Hazlehurst; Several nieces & nephews also survive.
