Mr. James Arthur Corbitt, Jr., age 75 years old, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Ga. following a short illness.  

 

 

He was born in Coffee County on June 1, 1948, the son of Arthur and Lois Highsmith Corbitt.  While splitting his time between Willacoochee and Dunnellon, Florida, Mr. Corbitt worked in construction, specializing in dry wall application.  He enjoyed motorcycles, woodworking, gardening, and fishing.  Mr. Corbitt was preceded in death, along with his parents, by his wife, Edith Arlene Haddon Corbitt.  

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

2 Sons:  Tim Corbitt and wife, Kimber of Ocala, Fl.

Jason Corbitt and wife, Selena of Valdosta, Ga.

 

 

Stepdaughter:  Breanne McNulty and husband, Josh of Calgary, Alberta Canada

 

 

Brother: Jimmy Corbitt and Karen Thomas of Willacoochee, Ga.

 

 

Sister: Carolyn Simpson and husband, Gary of Willacoochee, Ga.

 

 

4 Grandchildren: Tallen Corbitt

Kloe Sears

McKade Ballance

Brooke Mertz

 

 

2 Great Grandchildren along with many other relatives also survive.

 

 

Memorialization is by cremation.

 

 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Arna Cemetery with Rev. Mitchell Deems officiating.

 

 

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
