Mrs. Sandra Lynn Nugent, age 54 years old, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at The University Medical Center in Augusta, Ga., after a courageous battle with leukemia.

She was born in Homerville, Ga. on July 26, 1968, daughter of Dave Curtis Sr., and Glenda Middleton Roberson.  Sandra made her home in Willacoochee and worked at the Tifton, Ga. VA clinic as an LPN.  She enjoyed working in the yard tending her flowers and she had even started to enjoy hunting and fishing!  Sandra loved to take care of those around her, which included friends and family and especially her grandchildren. She would do whatever she could just to be there for those whom she loved.  If you were blessed to know Sandra, you knew her happiness and joy came from making others feel that same way.  Her beautiful and loving spirit will continue forever.

Survivors include:

Husband:  Mike Nugent of Willacoochee, Ga.

Daughter:  Ashton Pryor and husband Shane of Mystic, Ga.

Parents:  Dave and Glenda Roberson of Douglas, Ga.

Brother:  Dave Roberson, Jr. and wife Cathy of West Green, Ga.

2 Grandchildren:  Dallan Nugent and Brysen Pryor

Several other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nugent were held Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Relihan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. Special musical selections included, “God of All My Day”, and “Jealous of the Angels” both rendered by cd.  The interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Serving as active pallbearers were:  Johnny Deen, Jeremy Anderson, David McReady, Cameron Rigdon, Ashley Clark and Josh Brigmond.

Relihan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
