Known for blending the creative inspirations of his upbringing with modern country to create a sound all his own, RVSHVD (pronounced RA-SHAD) treats fans to his latest release – rock-infused “Proof,” available today on all digital platforms. Featuring platinum selling group All That Remains, the tune – which pays homage to RVSHVD’s love for the rock genre and the influence it has had on his musical journey – was co-written by Clint Johnson, David Ray Stevens, and Phil Mosley, and was produced by Dream Addix and Phil Mosley.
“I have always looked up to All That Remains and loved their sound. When they agreed to hop on this track with me, I knew I wanted to make it as big as possible,” said RVSHVD of having All That Remains join the track. “Working with them in the studio was something I will never forget and I think our audiences are going to love this track.”
“When RVSHVD asked me to sing with him I was totally flattered,” adds All That Remains lead singer Phil Labonte. “When he sent the track, I was floored. It’s such a great song and captures the spirit of the modern country/rock crossovers that are taking the music scene by storm today.”
“Proof” follows RVSHVD’s June release, “Wild Wild West” – a driving, rap-infused mid-tempo that paints a vivid picture of a cowboy whose love interest has eyes for someone else. The song has amassed over 500k streams in just four weeks.
Despite their success in metal, this isn’t All That Remains’ first foray in the country genre: they previously covered Garth Brooks hit “The Thunder Rolls,” which is certified Gold and fast-approaching 1 million sales.
