A domestic incident that happened on December 7, 2025, at Baymeadows sent both parties to jail after a midnight altercation, according to a report from the sheriff’s office. According to a report from the sheriff’s office, on December 1, 2025, at around 1:30 p.m., a deputy responded to a domestic call on Quincey Batten Loop. A mother and her son have been arrested and charged with charges related to insurance fraud in an investigation that goes back to 2022 in Lowndes County. Horace Kelly, 39, was arrested on October 23, 2025, by officers from the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.
