Westside students in grades 3, 4, and 5 who scored at the Proficient and/or Distinguished Level on all four sections of the Georgia Milestones were treated to a Smarty Party on May 18. Students enjoyed sliding down the water slide (special thanks to “Just Jump” for the rental), playing with beach balls, blowing bubbles, and other water activities. They also enjoyed eating lunch, watching a movie in the Westside Movie Theater (aka gymnasium), and utilizing personal technology with friends.
